We spent the morning at our co-op, and since it was pouring rain and mostly dark when we left the house, I decided to leave the nest alone until we returned.
I just seized the opportunity to check the nest during a sun break and found Gazelle in her normal brooding position. No babies today.
I caught these birds in flight over the weekend, and also peeked in on a tree-branch love connection after they’d landed. I must say, they are far more impressive in the air. Let’s all chant together “baby birds, baby birds” until tomorrow. It could work…right?
